  • Spring 2018 –No chapter meeting. Sandra García Sanborn requested a March date at CSU Stanislaus, but it turned out not to be feasible. Sandra suggested an essay contest as a possible chapter activity. In Spring 2018 the chapter cut ties with its Website provider and sought a new website.
  • Fall 2018 - (with FLANC) Oct. 27, St. Mary's College (Frances Sweeney helped organize on her campus)
  • Spring 2019 - Workshops at Cindy Avitia Public School, East San Jose, May 11, 10:00 AM  – 12:30 PM: With free registration, breakfast, and     light lunch/ Session I: 10:15 to 11:15 (1) Citlalli Del Carpio and Ali Miano, Stanford University and (2) Claudia Schalesky, Evergreen Valley College / Session II: 11:30 to 12:30 (1) Vanessa Fernández, San José State University, and Brenda Ortiz Loyola, CSU Stanislaus (2) Hanan Khaled, Monterey Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center. [(Rubith Huizar reserved the location, and Anne Fountain brought food and beverages for both breakfast and lunch.]

  • Spring 2021 - May 1 – 9:00 AM -12:00P – Workshops - NorCal Virtual Mini Conference with sessions by Elizabeth Cisneros (UC Merced), Lyris Wiedemann (Stanford University), Sandra García Sanborn (CSU Stanislaus), and Avizia Long, Gerson Morales and Estefany Sosa (San José State).

  • Spring 2022 – No chapter meeting.   • Spring 2023Zoom Workshop, Social Justice and Language Teaching, May 22, 2023 - 4:00 - 5:00 PM, by Rebecca Pozzi, Tracy Quan, and Chelsea Escalante.
  • Fall 2023 - (with FLANC) Virtual and hybrid, Nov. 4, (FLANC Hybrid part is for 20 persons at a site in Campbell) The chapter will hold elections virtually and separate from the FLANC conference.
  • Spring 2024 - (Exhibit participation, March 7-8, with CLTA in Monterey) Chapter session April 11, 2024, at CSU Monterey Bay and “Indigenous America in our Community and in the Spanish Classroom” joint presentation with Adolfo González (a native speaker of Zapotec).
  • Fall 2024 - Oct 7, AATSP Nor Cal Workshop in collaboration with CLTA, CSUMB, and Monterey Bay World Language Project via Zoom
  • Spring 2025 - Setting date and location for chapter member Judy Cortes's presentation on her new book Introduction to Educational Translation and Interpretation.
  • Fall 2025 – Chapter elections (two-year cycle)
